New Year - New Era

New Year, New Era: Hello 2026

The lights are flickering back on here at Boston Country Hub, and I’ll be honest — the spark that pulled me back wasn’t resolution season or a burst of productivity. It was the music.

Something about all these new artists rolling through Boston, the fresh albums dropping, the surprise tour announcements, the way this city suddenly feels louder and twangier again… it made me want to come back here and write. It reminded me why I started this space in the first place. Country music has a way of waking up parts of you that go quiet for a while.

So here I am, dusting off the porch, sweeping off the welcome mat, and stepping back into this little corner of the internet with a full heart and a fresh cup of coffee.

As we head into 2026, here’s what I’m looking forward to:

More live shows and new voices coming through town
Road trips, concerts, and the stories that happen in between
The everyday Boston moments that feel a little country if you tilt your head right
The projects I’ve been saving for the right season — and this feels like the season
A year that’s steadier, brighter, and just rowdy enough to stay fun

A new year feels like a long inhale — the kind that settles your shoulders and reminds you there’s plenty ahead worth leaning into. That’s the energy I’m carrying into January, and into this blog.

If you’ve been here a while, welcome back.
If you're new, pull up a chair.

Here’s to 2026 — may it be full of good music, good people, and the kind of stories worth telling.
